Ball valve maintenance is typically performed annually, focusing on checking seal wear, stem lubrication, and actuator flexibility. Common faults and solutions include:

Leakage: If the leakage is in the valve seat, tighten the gland bolts or replace the valve seat; if the leakage is in the valve stem, replace the packing or O-ring.

Stuck Opening/Closing: Check if the valve stem is bent, or clean any debris between the ball and the valve seat.

Actuator Malfunction: Check if the power/air supply is normal, or replace any damaged motor/cylinder.
